There will be no prizes. Invitation letters will be sent after the event to Pan Am Junior Championship team members.

ENTRY FEE
The entry fee of $80 per player must be made online. Only Canadian citizens are eligible for participation.
INSCRIPTION

Requests for extenuating circumstances will only be accepted via the Provincial Organization of the player and such requests are not guaranteed to proceed.

EVENTS
Events will be held in singles, doubles and mixed doubles for U11 and U13 age categories. Badminton Canada will be utilizing the Tournament Software online registration system. There will be preliminary round pool play and then elimination round brackets for athletes advancing out of the pools. Consolations will not be held.

Les épreuves en simple, double et double mixte pour les catégories U11 et U13. Badminton Canada utilisera le système d'inscription en ligne du Tournament Software.
Il y aura des poules pour les rondes préliminaires et les athlètes qui sortiront de leur poules s'affronteront dans un tableau à simple élimination.
TOURNAMENT RULES
The 21-Rally Point scoring format will be utilized. Three-minute warm-up and ten minute default will be strictly enforced. The use of protective eyewear is strongly recommended during play.

Format de notation de Point 21-rallye. Trois minutes d'échauffement et de dix minutes par défaut est strictement appliqué. L'utilisation de lunettes de protection est recommandée pendant le jeu.
CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
Competition is open to athletes born in 2005 or later (U13) and 2007 or later (U11). All participants in Badminton Canada qualification tournaments must be registered members of BCan and provide their member ID upon online registration. The registration fee to become a member of Badminton Canada will be an annual fee (Sept 1st-August 31st) and you must be a registered member in good standing with a BCan provincial membership organization in order to be a registered member of BCan.
The maximum number of entrants is 150. Should the maximum entry be exceeded, priority will be given to players/teams ranked in the top 10 in each event on the Canadian National ranking list. After the top 10 ranked players/teams in each event, priority will be given to players based on their date of entry onto the tournament. Doubles and Mixed teams will be considered based on the latest entry date of the two partners.
CONDITIONS DE PARTICIPATION
La compétition est ouverte pour les athlètes nées 2005 et après (U13) et 2007 et après (U11). Tous les participants dans les tournois de Badminton Canada doivent être membres de Badminton Canada et donner leur ID de membre au moment de s’enregistrer en ligne. Les frais d'inscription pour devenir membre de Badminton Canada sera frais annuelle (de 1 septembre-31 Août) et vous devez être un membre inscrit et en règle avec une organisation provinciale de Badminton Canada afin d'être un membre inscrit de Badminton Canada.
Le nombre maximum de participants est de 150. Si l'entrée maximale est dépassée, la priorité sera donnée aux joueurs / équipes classées dans le top 10 dans chaque événement sur la liste nationale canadienne de classement. Après les 10 premiers joueurs / équipes classés dans chaque cas, la priorité sera donnée aux joueurs en fonction de leur date d'entrée sur le tournoi. Les équipes Doubles et mixtes seront considérées en fonction de la dernière entrée des deux partenaires.
REFUNDS
Refunds are provided to participants, less a 25% administration fee, who withdraw prior to the entry deadline of the competition. After the entry deadline, but before the draws are made, refunds are provided les a 50% administration fee. Refunds will not be provided for withdrawals after the draws have been made.
REMBOURSEMENT
Les remboursements sont fournis aux participants, moins les frais d'administration de 25%, qui se retirent avant la date limite d'inscription à la compétition. Après la date limite d'inscription, mais avant les tirages sont faits, les remboursements sont prévus les frais d'administration de 50%. Les remboursements ne seront pas fournis pour les retraits après les tirages ont été effectués.

There will be no seeding done for this tournament, placement in the pools will be by random lot.

WAIVER OF RIGHTS
I hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, waive and release any and all claims for damages I may have against Badminton Canada, any of it's member organizations, the host venue, and their respective agents, members of staff, for any and all injuries which may be suffered by me, through accident or negligence, in conjunction with my competition and attendance at all related activities of this event. I accept the above terms from the time of online entry until the completion of the tournament.
