The entry fee of $80 per player must be made online. Only Canadian citizens are eligible for participation.

Unpaid entries will not be included in the draws. LATE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Requests for extenuating circumstances will only be accepted via the Provincial Organization of the player and such requests are not guaranteed to proceed.
Events will be held in singles, doubles and mixed doubles for U11 and U13 age categories. Badminton Canada will be utilizing the Tournament Software online registration system. There will be preliminary round pool play and then elimination round brackets for athletes advancing out of the pools. Consolations will not be held.
The 21-Rally Point scoring format will be utilized. Two-minute warm-up and ten-minute default will be strictly enforced. The use of protective eyewear is strongly recommended during play.
CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
Competition is open to athletes born in 2005 or later (U13) and 2007 or later (U11). All participants in Badminton Canada qualification tournaments must be a member of their provincial/territorial association and be eligible to compete in national level events and provide their member ID upon online registration. The registration fee to become a member will be an annual fee (Sept 1st-August 31st) and you must be a registered member in good standing with a BCan provincial membership organization in order to be a registered member of Badminton Canada.
The maximum number of entrants is 150. Priority will be given to players based on their date of entry onto the tournament. Doubles and Mixed teams will be considered based on the latest entry date of the two partners.
Refunds are provided to participants, less a 25% administration fee, who withdraw prior to the entry deadline of the competition. After the entry deadline, but before the draws are made, refunds are provided les a 50% administration fee. Refunds will not be provided for withdrawals after the draws have been made.

Any seeding will be based on provincial rankings.

I hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, waive and release any and all claims for damages I may have against Badminton Canada, any of it's member organizations, the host venue, and their respective agents, members of staff, for any and all injuries which may be suffered by me, through accident or negligence, in conjunction with my competition and attendance at all related activities of this event. I accept the above terms from the time of online entry until the completion of the tournament.
