David Folinsbee Memorial Tournament
In memory of David Folinsbee, The Red Willow Badminton Club will be hosting a fun double’s only event November 2nd to 4th. There will be social events on Friday and Saturday night. Friday features light food and is included in your registration fee. Saturday’s sit-down dinner is available for an extra $20 plus GST. Extra social event tickets are $10 and $20 plus GST for Friday and Saturday respectively. A cash bar is available for both events.
This year is also the 30th anniversary of the club. A special event will mark the occasion on Sunday afternoon. Check out the Red Willow web site for more information.
As this is a fun event, no prizes will be awarded for event winners. However, door prize draws will be drawn throughout the event and each participant will receive a souvenir.

Friday starts at 6:30 PM, while Saturday and Sunday start at 9:00 AM.
Entry Deadline:
October 19, 2018 @23:59PM PST. LATE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
Events:
Mixed Doubles (combined ages): 40-69, 70-99, 100-119, 120+
Men’s and Women’s Doubles: 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
All ages as at December 31, 2018.
Maximum three events per person. Events with fewer than 4 participants may be combined.
If you require a partner, please request one when registering.
The maximum number of entries is 75. Register early to guarantee your spot.
Tournament Fees:
The event entry fee is $35 plus GST for a total of $36.75. As this is a Badminton Alberta sanctioned event, you will also require, as a minimum, a $10 Club Adult Participant membership, which can be purchased during the registration process.
Refunds / Withdrawal Penalty:
Refunds are provided to participants, less a 25% administration fee, who withdraw prior to the entry deadline of the competition. After the entry deadline, but before the draws are made, refunds are provided less a 50% administration fee. Refunds will not be provided for withdrawals after the draws have been made.

Waiver of Rights:
I hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, waive and release all claims for damages I may have against Red Willow Badminton Club, members of staff or volunteers, for any and all injuries which may be suffered by me, through accident or negligence, in conjunction with my competition and attendance at all related activities of this event.
I accept the above terms from the time of online entry until the completion of the tournament.
