Earn the right to represent one of eight zones identified within Alberta. If you are born in 2008 or later and are a member of Badminton Alberta you are eligible to attend the one day zone trials in which you reside.
Four boys and four girls per zone will qualify to attend the 2024 Alberta Winter Games being held in Grande Prairie over the Family Day long weekend in February.
For most zones, Games organized transport by motorcoach will be arranged from each zone. Athletes and coaches will stay in a Games Village and eat at the Games Cafeteria during the three days of competition.
All participants will attend the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, receive zone specific team clothing and sport specific game uniform.
A Games registration fee of $80 per athlete will be collected by Badminton Alberta to offset transportation, lodging and food costs.
