In the Fall of 2025, Badminton Alberta offers a number of program choices in the Calgary area for youth aged 6-17 years of age interested in pursuing badminton. Group lessons are available Monday through Friday evenings at numerous school gyms throughout the City of Calgary and on Saturday morning at Mount Royal University.

The supporting regulation for the Fairness and Safety in Sport Act has been introduced.

Badminton Alberta is offering Child & Youth summer camp choices for summer 2025 held at Mount Royal University, for ages 8-17 who are interested in pursuing badminton under the umbrella of "The Badminton Academy". 

Badminton Alberta has a varied listing of coach and officials training opportunities scheduled for February-March-April of 2025.

To assist members with their tournament planning, we have included a schedule for the months of January-May 2025. Please note the start date of registration  for BA events will be five-weeks out from the tournament dates. 

Effective immediately, Badminton Alberta is introducing amended regulations pertaining to the YONEX Alberta Junior Circuit events.

 Badminton Alberta is excited to share several changes that affect the Alberta Junior Rankings and the YONEX Alberta Junior Circuit.
