YONEX Alberta Series Prize Money is based on a sliding scale. As the number of participants in a tournament increases, so does the prize money. See the below charts for reference:

EXAMPLE: If there are 58 participants entered into a YONEX Alberta Series tournament, based on the above tables: 

- The total prize purse available would be $3,000

- The Men's Singles (MS) Winner would take home 11.5% of $3,000

- The Women's Doubles (WD) Finalists would take home 5% of $3,000 (sharing 2.5% each)

- The Mixed Doubles (XD) Semi-Finalists would take home 4% of $3,000 (sharing 1% each)

Yonex Alberta Series - Product Points

Players participating in Yonex Alberta Series events will be eligible to earn Product Points for reaching predetermined spots in the 'B', 'C' and 'D' event draws. See the below chart for reference:

PRODUCT POINTS REDEMPTION

Players can redeem their Product Points in exchange for their choice of any YONEX badminton product that appears on the current product listing.

PRODUCT POINTS EXPIRATION

YONEX Product Points earned have a life of approximately 1.5 - 2.5 years before expiring, which occurs on January 01 of each year. Points earned in any season must be used before then.

 

EXAMPLE:

- YONEX product points earned by a player during the 2023-2024 season will expire on Janaury 1, 2026

- YONEX product points earned by a player during the 2024-2025 season will expire on Janaury 1, 2027

- YONEX product points earned by a player during the 2025-2026 season will expire on Janaury 1, 2028

 

COMBINING PRODUCT POINTS & SHORTFALLS

Players may combine YONEX Product Points (providing they have not expired) from the previous years towards their purchase. 

If players do not have enough Points to redeem for the product of their choice, they may purchase additional points at a cost of $5.00 per point.  

- NOTE: Players must have at least 75% of the total product point value in order to be eligible to purchase additional points

Players wishing to redeem their YONEX Product Points must perform the following steps:

1) Complete an order form HERE

ORDER FORM INSTRUCTIONS

   - Fill in your name

   - Fill in your points balance as per the Product Points Summary worksheet

   - Fill in your item and quantity, CLEARLY indicate the model number, grip size, shoe size, color, etc. for each product

   - Fill in the date that you are ordering the product(s)

   - Submit the form

2) You will receive a confirmation that your order has been received and processed or if your product is unavailable. *Incomplete order forms or order forms which have not followed all of the above steps will NOT be processed.

3) You will receive a notification when the products are delivered to the BA Office, from which you can schedule a pick up or pick up from a specific BA tournament/event.
