Rankings

Badminton Alberta has introduced a new ranking formula for use in all provincial rankings.  Only results using Toernooi Tournament Software will be included in the Alberta Rankings. 
 
Rankings will now be available for singles, doubles and mixed doubles.
 
Badminton Alberta will be maintaining rankings for the following age classifications for the 2023-24 season (01 January - 31 December):
 

JUNIOR

  • u19 (athletes born in 2006 or later)
  • u17 (athletes born in 2008 or later)
  • u15 (athletes born in 2010 or later)
  • u13 (athletes born in 2012 or later)
  • u11 (athletes born in 2014 or later)

 

 

SENIOR

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The following Points Table will be ultilized in calculating rankings regardless of age classificiation.

A number of procedural things are required from Alberta athletes to ensure a smooth transistion to the new system.  What's required from our members?

  1. Each Alberta athlete is required to create a unique player account.  Follow this link to create your account. Once you have created your account, you can simply Log In to: enter a tournament, modify your entry, or view your entry.
  2. Every time an Alberta player enters an on-line tournament in Alberta, you will be asked to provide your Membership Number (this will be two letters [AB] followed by five numbers.  Your unique two letter/five digit membership number is available by contacting Badminton Alberta.
