Badminton Academy - Child & Youth Program- Summary Winter 2026

Badminton Alberta offers a number of Winter 2026 program choices in the Calgary area for youth aged 7-17 years of age interested in pursuing badminton. 

Badminton Alberta provides weeknight instructional programs throughout the City of Calgary at numerous schools, Universities and leisure centres. Program information can be accessed by following these links:

Yonex Child lessons (aged 7-11 years of age)

• Tuesdays- West Dalhousie School Child (6:15pm -7:35pm) $180.00- Jan 6,13,20,27 Feb 3,10,17,24, 2026 - 8 Week Session. 
• Mondays at Cedarbrae School Child (6:15pm - 7:35pm) $247.50- Jan 5,12,19,26 Feb 2,9,23 Mar 2,9,16,30, 2026 - 11 Week Session.
• Fridays at Southland Leisure Centre Child (4:30pm - 5:30pm) $292.50- Jan 2,9,16,23,30 Feb 6,13,20,27 Mar 6,13,20,27, 2026 - 13 Week Session.
• Wednesdays at Hawkwood School Child (6:15pm - 7:35pm) $157.50- Jan 7,28, Feb 4,11,18,25 Mar 4, 2026 - 7 Week Session.
• Saturdays at Mount Royal University Class A Child(Ages 8 - 10 years- 8:30-9:30am) $247.50 - Jan 3,17,24,31 Feb 7,21,28 Mar 7,14,21,28, 2026 - 11 Week Session.

Registrations for Winter 2026 are only available on-line through Badminton Alberta on our Active Net Registration site. Winter 2026 registration will open on November 12, 2025 in the afternoon.
