Badminton Clinic for Teachers

Date: Saturday, February 1st 2025

Venue: Main Gym, Crescent Heights High School,  1019 1 St NW, Calgary, AB T2M 2S2

Times: 9 AM - 12 PM

Dress Code: Sporting or Athletic attire preffered, non-marking shoes requested

Cost: All participants must be a current member of Badminton Alberta ($25.75 + GST)

Course Instructor: Vishal Santhanam

Capacity: 16 Participants

Course Description: A clinic designed to provide teachers with information, skills, drills and best practices to use during the school badminton season. Topics include basic coaching skills, how to structure a practice or tryout, key skills/shots/footwork to focus on, simple drills with progressions, tactics and strategies for singles, doubles and school tournaments. Participants should bring a racket, non-marking shoes and writing materials, all other equipment will be provided. 

A valid Badminton Alberta membership is required to attend the clinic, which can be purchased here.
