Shuttle Time is a recreational coaching program developed by the Badminton World Federation and refined by Badminton Alberta, and Badminton Canada. This coaching program was created specifically for first time coaches, assistant and recreational center coaches, and school teachers. No experience or knowledge of badminton is necessary. It is highly recommended that if you are receiving coaching education for the first time to take this course regardless of skill level.
This stream will educate coaches about group management, efficient use of space, games and drills for physical and skills development, and how to instruct basic technical skills and footwork. Coaches who register into this program will receive a program manual, and 22 lesson plans for aided delivery. Click here for more information.
****This is a hybrid delivery, requiring participants to complete the online component of Shuttletime found here. Participants will be asked to provide the certification of completion to participate in this event.****

Cost: $150.00 + GST per participant, all participants must be a current member of Badminton Alberta, purchase here. ($25.75+GST).
Dress Code: Sporting or leisure attire preferred, non-marking shoes requested. Please bring your own racket.
