Badminton Alberta is excited to present “Badminton Officiating 101 - An Introduction to Officiating the Game of Badminton.”
This introductory course is for those interested in learning the fundamentals of badminton officiating and beginning their pathway toward becoming a certified Provincial umpire. Instruction will be led by nationally certified umpire and provincial referee, Dale Jenkins, who will guide participants through the rules, procedures, and responsibilities of officiating badminton at a competitive level.
This course has been postponed due to low number of registrations. If you are interested in recieving this training, please register and once enough participants have expressed interest, a course date will be scheduled around the next available tournament.

Friday, from 5:00PM - 8:00PM (Classroom Theory session - Badminton Alberta Office)
Saturday, from 10AM - 1PM (Observation/practical - at tournament TBD)
Sunday, from 10AM - 1PM (On-court practical - at tournament TBD)
**for on-court session please wear a black shirt and clean non-marking indoor shoes. Outdoor shoes are not permitted**

Free - We ask that each participant be a member of Badminton Alberta and in good standing
