Badminton Canada is Calling All Self-Identified Girls!

Badminton Canada has partnered with Fast and Female, a Canadian charity on a mission to keep self-identified girls aged 8-14 healthy and active in sports. 

Founded in 2005 by Olympic gold medalist Chandra Crawford, Fast and Female believes in the power of positive sport experiences and role models to give girls leadership, teamwork and resiliency skills.

What: A FREE and exciting Fast and Female Virtual Power Hour!

Where: VIRTUAL with Badminton Canada REAL (Relatable, Empower, Active Leaders) Role Models!

Who: Self-Identified Girls, Aged 8 – 14 years old

What is a Power Hour: Power Hours are 1 – 2 hour, fun-filled, non-competitive events for girls that connect them to REAL Role Models. A Power Hour is made up of four parts:

  1. Introduction and connection to Fast and Female REAL Role Models from Badminton Canada
  2. Group Physical Activity
  3. 30 minute workshop, focused on body image
  4. And a Q&A style panel with our REAL Role Models!

When: Wednesday, July 21st from 7:00 – 8:30 pm EST

Every participant that registers will receive a Fast and Female swag pack in the mail, including a Fast and Female t-shirt, snacks, and more! This Power Hour will be hosted over Zoom. All registrants will receive the Zoom link at least 48 hours in advance of the event.
