The Badminton Academy at MRU - Winter 2024

Badminton Alberta is pleased to offer badminton instructional classes at Mount Royal University in Calgary on Saturday mornings, please see below the age groups. 

Badminton Alberta will offer 10-weeks of lessons in the Winter session of 2024, covering three aged categories:

• Class A - 8-10 years of age (60 minutes per session from 8:30-9:30am) $210.00 per 10-week session; 
• Class B - 11-13 years of age (80 minutes per session from 8:30-9:50am) $231.00 per 10-week session;
• Class C - 14-17 years of age (80 minutes per session from 10-11:20am) $252.00 GST Not Included per 10-week session;

This program is a fun way to develop proper techniques, tactics and much more while learning about the game badminton. It meets the needs of players from beginner to competitive. Each level is a progression from the previous level. Class sizes are small and grouped according to age, each class is expected to have various skills levels. Each practice consists of instruction and will include match play in a fun, ladder format time permitting. 

Saturday morning lessons this Winter 2024 will commence January 6, 20, 27 Feb 3, 10, 24, Mar 2, 9, 16, 23, 2024 (There no scheduled dates on: January 13 & February 17, 2024).

Payment: Is due at time of registraion on our Active Net registration site.

Refund/Withdrawal Deadline Policy: is 5 business days prior to the event start date and is subject to a $25 admin fee. No refunds/withdrawals or transfers on or after the start date.
